Well, our stint in 4th place was short lived as Gil Meche pitched a gem striking out 11 in 7 innings. Carl Pavano had his worst outing since early April and the Indians, who only managed 4 hits, lost to the Royals 9-0. The loss moves them back into last place in the division, eight games back of the Tigers. The Tribe gets back to it tonight at 705pm, but it does not get any easier. Jeremy Sowers has the lucky job of facing Zack Greinke, who the Indians did manage to beat last time around, even though it was simply the Royals bullpen imploding after the Tribe wore out Greinke.
