Cliff Lee

For anyone who thinks that Cliff Lee's Cy Young award last year was a flash in the pan, they should have changed their minds last night.  While Lee's win total may not end up as great as last year, but his dominance is still the same.  He required only 93 pitches to retire the Cardinals and pitch a complete game shutout for a 3-0 Indians win.  Mark DeRosa hit a 2 run home run in the first and that was more than enough for the Tribe ace.  Since April16th, Lee has only walked 15 batters, given up only 20 runs, K'd 59 batters, all in 87 innings.  That is a 2.06 ERA, but his record is only 4-4 in that time frame.  More importantly, the Tribe picked up the series win, their 3rd in a row, and although they are still in the cellar, they are only 6 games back of AL Central leading Detroit.  The Tribe has back to back games on ESPN, and tonight's gametime is 705pm.  Carl Pavano looks to bounce back after a rough outing against the struggling Brewers, who have lost 6 of their last 7.  Come down to the Clevelander and drink some brews.  We will see you here.
