After the first weekend, I am 4-7. Not great, but better than last year if I remember correctly. I am going to make some picks early this week because I know that I definitely have my finger on the pulse after one week. Pick: Usc Trojans

I am going to the game, but I am not delusional enough to think the Buckeyes have a chance unfortunately. USC traditionally dominates in big games on the road. Trojans win 35-17.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs Stanford Cardinal in Winston Salem, Bb&t Field (formerly Groves Stadium)

First Half Spread: 1.5

Pick: Wake Forest Demon Deacons 1st half

A west coast team playing an east coast team in a noon game? I smell trouble. Stanford may make up to win this game, but I love Wake in essentially a pick'em in the first half. Bet the first half and rake it in.

Florida Gators vs Troy Trojans in Gainesville, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Spread: 36

Pick: Florida Gators

Don't be fooled into thinking the Gators are going to get caught looking ahead to Tennessee in this game. Troy just got slaughtered by BGSU and is not the same Troy team that has given big name teams fits in the past. Bet the Gators all year until they don't cover. Gators huge, 63-7.

Texas Christian Horned Frogs vs Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Scott Stadium

Spread: 11.5

Pick: Texas Christian Horned Frogs

TCU lost a lot up front on D, but with most of its offense back should destroy this hapless UVa team that already has a home loss to William and Mary. Virginia may not get the ball across the 50 yard line all game. Again, the Mountain West wins against the BCS, 42-17.

Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Air Force Falcons in Minneapolis, TCF Bank Stadium

Spread: 3.5

Pick: Minnesota Golden Gophers

I know Minnesota had to go to overtime versus Syracuse and Air Force scored 72 points last week, but throw that all out the window. Minnesota is playing a night game at their brand new, open air, on campus stadium and are going to be fired up. Gophers win, 28-20.

Ohio Bobcats vs North Texas Mean Green in Denton, Fouts Field

Pick: North Texas Mean Green

OU showed that they are not very good and North Texas loves to cover. Now they are getting points at home. OU should have fun flying into Denton, Texas, and playing in 100 degree heat. Good luck. Go Mean Green, 34-27.
